How do I install the water timer on a faucet?

Wrap the supplied sealing tape around the faucet threads, then screw on the water timer. Tighten it by hand only; do not use tools.

How do I put the water timer into pairing mode?

Press and hold any button on the water timer for at least 5 seconds until the indicator starts flashing.

Pairing failed: unable to connect to the router?

Tuya Wi-Fi devices generally work best on 2.4 GHz networks. We recommend:

• Use a dedicated 2.4 GHz SSID and do not give it the same name as the 5 GHz network.
• Set the wireless channel to 1, 6, or 11.
• Set the channel width to 20 MHz.
• Use WPA2-PSK encryption and avoid WPA3 mixed mode.
• Test the device close to the router. If the connection becomes stable, weak signal or interference at the installation site is likely the cause.

How can I extend battery life?

In the water timer panel settings, enable Sleep Mode.

How can I stop watering on rainy days?

In the water timer panel settings, enable Skip Rainy Days. You can also enable Rain Delay on the panel home screen.
